I’m Cristina Sala, founder of WineSpeakingFriends, a global Wine Lovers community where wine tasting becomes a joyful, sensory-rich, and sustainable experience.

With a strong background in wine flavors, sensory evaluation, and fragrance design, I’ve spent over 20 years helping people connect through wine and awaken the hidden power of their senses — especially the sense of smell.

I’ve led Wine Sensory Training programs, wine aroma training workshops, and wine tasting courses for both beginners and enthusiasts, always making wine culture friendly, accessible, and a true source of wellbeing.

I bring to this project a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry about Wine Flavors from the Oenology Faculty of Tarragona (URV), an Executive MBA from EADA Business School, a Master’s in Food Science and Technology from the University of Barcelona, and a degree in Biology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I speak native Catalan and Spanish, fluent English and French, basic German, and understand Italian — because wine is also about connecting cultures.

We believe wine is more than a drink — it’s a bridge between people. We connect Wine Lovers from all over the world, helping them share unforgettable wine moments and build confidence in speaking the Wine Language.

With our unique WSF wine aroma training method, you’ll learn to recognize and describe wine aromas naturally, through fun sensory challenges and interactive tasting games. Before you know it, you’ll be speaking the wine language with ease and confidence.

We start with what matters most — your senses. You’ll explore aromas, flavors, and textures in a relaxed, joyful way, then connect them to words so you can share your discoveries with friends, join wine tasting events, and create memorable wine moments.

This is not a traditional wine course. It’s a friendly, hands-on experience designed for Wine Lovers who want to enjoy wine more, laugh more, and feel part of a community that celebrates the joy of wine.
